“…Because of this Paper we are drawn to each other more strongly…”

September 15, 2010

Greetings, to my brothers and sisters: Family:

I just got your letter about my R.C.P. Paper [Revolution newspaper] that may get cut off?  Well, I am very sorry that I have neglected to respond.  Please forgive me.  I really have enjoyed this informative news.  I mean real news not a bunch of negative untrue lies, and false propaganda.  By the Capitalist Pigs.  The R.C.P. newspaper I get really informs me and my brothers.  In this capitalist system.  The paper I get is read and passed on to my brothers.  Because of this Paper we are drawn to each other more strongly.  We are bonded together as one unit in this struggle to spread the R.C.P.U.S.A. to as many as we can in this Prison system of oppression and emperialist regime.

The officers here on this unit are so corrupt with bringing weed, tobacco, cell phones, whatever you want, you can get if you have the $.  But these inmates don’t know or care that TDC [Texas Department of Corrections] system like this unit, the officers are starting to go back to the way they were before Ruiz v. [Estelle]*  The oppression – the beatings.  And the inmates don’t say anything for fear that they will be targeted by the gangs or the officers involved in this corrupt farm.  The things the officers get away with makes me sick.

I may be retaliated for writing this but I don’t care.  I am like the R.C.P. [newspaper.]  I will tell the truth about the pigs even if I have to die for doing this.  I am dieing anyway because of this system neglecting the sick and dieing and how the handicapt inmates are treated by the staff and inmates.  I am getting to the point that I would rather be dead.  Than go thru this hell.  I have been kicked around by this system all of my life from a child.  And every time I try to get someone to help me or at least talk to me about how I am being treated, I get beat or kicked around more.  Well I am going to close this for now.  Please keep sending me the R.C.P. [newspaper] and any other reading material that I can get. Thank you.

P.S.  I will discharge next year.  All of it day for day on a 12 year non-agg [non-aggravated assault] and for what?  Getting beat for nothing and the officers covering all this up.  But I get the case.  Anyway,… thanks.

*[NOTE from PRLF: Ruiz v. Estelle is a class action suit that was decided in 1980 in favor of the prisoners, forbidding specific practices in Texas prison system as cruel and unusual punishment.]
