Give prisoners the gift of life-changing literature

The main requests received by PRLF from those behind bars are for complimentary subscriptions in Spanish and English to the online Revolution newspaper, the works of the revolutionary leader Bob Avakian and for revolutionary and other books.

PRLF currently sends Revolution to about 750 prisoners in state and federal prisons across the US.

PRLF also sends hundreds of books to prisoners every year, at their request. Our most-requested and core books include:

Every two weeks, PRLF sends 1st class newsletters of key articles from the online Revolution (revcom.us) to prisoners. With all-volunteer labor, each newsletter costs $2 per prisoner.

One mailing of key revcom.us articles to our mailing list costs $1500. Annually, our mailing costs alone are $36,000.

One mailing of key articles to 100 prisoners = $200.
